LEGAL & TRUST CENTRE · VERSION 1.0

Business Listing & Verification Policy

Standards for authentic local businesses, fair listings and geographic coverage.

Prepared: 29 October 2026Effective from publicationOperator: OSOO India Infotech Pvt Ltd
Our commitment: ManaMandal connects people to local businesses and opportunities while protecting legitimate business interests and visitor rights. Nothing here removes protections that Indian law makes mandatory. The company may publish revised versions with appropriate notice.

1. Who may list

The submitting person must be an authorized owner, representative or approved agency acting for a genuine organization. Submit accurate legal and public names, business category, contact information and any applicable permits. An account may manage several legally distinct companies, subject to separate verification.

2. Legal identity versus published listing

A registered company profile is not itself a public directory listing. Each listing is a controlled publication record linked to a verified company and owner. A company may have more than one approved listing only where genuine separate records or approved service-coverage arrangements justify them.

3. Free listing quota

The currently proposed default is up to two Free listings per authenticated owner account across companies. Drafts, rejected, archived, restored, upgraded and duplicate records must follow published, server-enforced counting rules before activation. A browser counter alone does not confer entitlement.

4. Gold and geographic scope

Gold and geographic-discovery services may carry a fee. The previously discussed ₹599 is a proposed baseline and must not be construed as covering unlimited Mandals, lifetime service, taxes or any other benefit unless the checkout and approved plan expressly say so. Each paid entitlement attaches to a specific listing and scope.

5. Physical branches and service coverage

Do not describe a remote-service area as a physical branch. A branch requires an actual operating location and truthful address; broader service coverage may be selected separately where the business can genuinely serve users. Misleading nationwide or statewide claims may be rejected or corrected.

6. Verification and evidence

The Platform may ask for company identity, licences or sector-specific records where appropriate, without automatically demanding Aadhaar or PAN scans. Verification may be documentary, manual or sampled and does not amount to governmental certification. Optional MSME/Udyam data is not mandatory by default.

7. Editing and approvals

Owners may save drafts before final submission. Submitted or verified records are controlled by an approval workflow, with correction requests, version history and audit logs as appropriate. Publishing takes place only after authorized approval; payment alone does not guarantee publication.

8. Content standards

Text, logos, images, services, hours, testimonials and claims must be lawful, accurate, authorized, appropriately categorized and not infringe rights. Listings may not offer illegal products, deceptive claims or personal data copied from third parties without authorization.

9. Calls and enquiries

Owners agree that designated public contact methods may be used by visitors for genuine enquiries. Owners are responsible for handling customer messages fairly and lawfully; the Platform does not guarantee enquiries, conversions or contactability.

10. Placement and ranking

Organic search considers relevance and location. Sponsored/featured positions may be configured independently, disclosed as such and subject to availability. Payment does not entitle a business to misrepresent a physical presence or outrank every more relevant local result.

11. Suspension and disputes

Misleading or prohibited listings may be suspended or removed. Affected parties may report errors or seek review through support. We may preserve limited audit and payment evidence in accordance with legal retention obligations.

12. Agency-assisted registration

Where authorized office staff or agents assist an owner, the application must identify the real owner, basis of agency, fee and actual consent. Agency commissions, if later offered, require a separate approved contract and must not be invented or promised by the directory.

13. Independent responsibilities

Owners remain responsible for their licences, taxes, business obligations, services, hiring, promises and compliance. ManaMandal operates the discovery platform and moderation tools rather than serving as their legal employer or business partner.
