1. Controller and scope
This Privacy Policy explains how OSOO INDIA INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED processes personal information through ManaMandal.com, the Business Owner Portal, Visitor Account features, admin operations, business directory submissions, public enquiries and related customer support. Where a separate party independently collects information through a business contact link, that party is responsible for its own practices.
2. Information you choose to provide
Depending on the feature, we may collect your name, email, Indian mobile number, WhatsApp contact, optional profile information, selected locality, business identity, business contact details, submitted content, inquiry details, verification declarations, service preferences, communications and support requests. We should not require full Aadhaar or personal PAN details solely to create a general visitor account.
3. Business and publicly displayed information
Approved business names, trade names, service coverage, public business addresses, category, logo, opening hours, offers and expressly selected public contact channels may appear in directory search results. Private login credentials, private home addresses, internal audit notes, personal verification data and unpublished applications must not be shown in public listings.
4. Technical information
When the Platform is used, servers and authorized service providers may process IP address, browser/device attributes, approximate location derived from search selections, diagnostic events, security logs, cookie identifiers and requested pages. We do not need precise GPS location for Mandal-based search; any optional device-location capability should request separate permission.
5. Visitor search and interaction data
For signed-in visitors, after appropriate notice and a valid processing basis, we may record location selections, searches, saved businesses, viewed profiles and high-value contact actions. A declared preferred Mandal is different from the Mandal used in a particular search. We should avoid recording keystrokes, unrelated browsing, passwords, OTPs or sensitive inferences. Business intelligence should use aggregated or appropriately de-identified data where feasible.
6. Purposes of use
We use information to administer accounts, verify email, enable local search, present approved listings and offers, manage business applications, handle commercial transactions, combat spam and fraud, maintain security, provide customer support, issue statutory records, improve the Platform, assess genuine local demand and process disclosures or consented marketing as applicable.
7. Processing grounds and choice
We process personal data on grounds available under applicable Indian law, including notice and valid consent where required and other legally permitted uses. We provide specific choices for optional marketing and personalized tracking where applicable. Essential authentication, security and transaction processing may be necessary to provide requested services. You can browse public directory information without a Visitor Account.
8. Sharing
Information is shared only as needed with hosting/database providers, authentication and email services, payment processors, communications vendors, analytics processors, authorized support personnel, selected public businesses when you initiate a contact/enquiry, and legal authorities when required. We do not sell visitor contact lists to businesses or provide identifiable search histories as general commercial leads without an appropriate lawful basis and notice.
9. International processing
Some cloud or communications vendors may process information outside your state or India. Transfers, where used, will be assessed against applicable laws, contractual safeguards and government restrictions. Specific hosting regions or transfer arrangements may change; contact us for the current service-provider categories.
10. Cookies and preferences
Essential cookies and similar local technologies support security, authentication and user experience. Optional analytics/personalization technologies, if introduced, will be explained in the Cookies Policy and managed according to applicable choice requirements. Browser settings may restrict some functions.
11. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including least-privilege access, access logs, authentication services, database permissions, payment-provider verification and incident response procedures. No internet system is completely risk-free. Report suspected account misuse or accidental disclosure promptly.
12. Retention
We retain account and profile data while needed for service delivery, legal obligations, dispute resolution, audit and fraud prevention; then delete, anonymize or restrict it as appropriate. Some invoices, payment, tax, consent and security records must be retained longer under applicable law. The detailed operational retention schedule will be maintained internally and reviewed periodically.
13. Your requests and corrections
Subject to applicable law, you may ask about your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure where appropriate, withdraw optional consent, raise a grievance or close your account. Verified submissions, financial records or legal holds may restrict direct editing or immediate deletion. Contact support to begin a secure request; we may verify your identity before processing it.
14. Consent withdrawal
If you withdraw consent relied upon for optional processing, that processing will stop or be adjusted as required by law, although prior lawful processing and necessary records may remain. The withdrawal method should be reasonably accessible and should not remove unrelated services unless the withdrawn processing is necessary for that service.
15. Children and vulnerable persons
The Platform is intended primarily for general local discovery and adult-operated business accounts. We do not knowingly solicit standalone business registration from children. Any collection of children's personal data, targeted advertising or tracking must satisfy applicable age, guardian-consent and protection requirements before being enabled.
16. Data breach response
If a personal-data incident occurs, we will investigate, contain and make required notices to affected persons and competent authorities within applicable statutory timelines and rules. We cannot promise that every incident or attempted attack will be prevented.
17. Communications
Service notifications may include account verification, application decisions, support and payment confirmations. Direct marketing requires the appropriate notice, permission and opt-out controls. Do not send your password, OTP or private government documents by unverified chat channels.
18. Rights and grievances
To exercise privacy rights, request deletion or raise a concern, contact support@osooindia.com. Our grievance route is described at https://manamandal.com/grievance-redressal. We may need minimal account identifiers to locate and verify a request.
19. Policy updates
Material changes will be communicated as required, with version and preparation/publication dates. Where consent is legally required for a new purpose, we will obtain it rather than assuming that continued browsing supplies consent.
